Since 1986, Xebec and its predecessor, US GASNET Inc, have been providing its clients with turnkey EDI solutions.  Xebec has eliminated the need to master new, complicated, highly technical skills and lets our clients concentrate on what they do best.  Working closely with our clients, their business trading partners, and communications providers, Xebec delivers a fully tested package which is ready to use upon installation. 

Xebec Data is an organization that was set up in 1996 to pursue EDI opportunities outside the natural gas industry.  Its predecessor company, US GASNET Inc., provided electronic bulletin boards, electronic gas nomination and purchase systems, and EDI services for numerous large gas pipeline and distribution companies for eleven years.  The founders decided that the experience and skills developed while serving the natural gas industry could easily be applied to the larger marketplace, and so Xebec was created.  

About eight years ago, Xebec began collaborating with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the largest gas and electric utility in the U.S., to develop a PC-based EDI solution that could be offered to PG&E customers as its new EDI invoicing program was rolled out.  DataTrek is the result of that collaboration.  This led to its working extensively with a large number of energy and telecom companies and then expansion to hundreds of clients outside those industries.  Xebec has provided EDI solutions to companies selling products in many different industries (grocery, healthcare, hardware stores, shipping, cosmetics, fulfillment, distribution, music, etc.).

Xebec solutions can help customers facing various EDI and EC challenges.  It offers the DataTrek EDI software package that is pre-map and tested for its customers operating in any industry.  Xebec hosts a Web EDI solution, ECLynx, for those clients with either smaller transaction volumes or who want to avoid loading software on their networks.  It can also provide Resale and UNE-P provisioning programs to CLECs competing in the telecom industry.   Xebec also has options for those companies simply looking for VAN services or AS2 connectivity programs.
